Carolyn McLean and Rick Redding Will Host Weekly Podcast

A city known nationally for its restaurant and bar scene is set to have its own podcast devoted to eating, drinking and enjoying life in Louisville. The 30-minute weekly show will deliver discussion on dining trends, restaurant openings and closings, and all the latest industry news in a lively and entertaining format. Co-hosts Carolyn McLean and Rick Redding are seasoned journalists with a die-hard appreciation for the city’s gems, both old and new. “This show is a must-listen for Louisvillians who want the scoop on where to go and what to do, with a special focus on the stars of the culinary show, our outstanding roster of local chefs, bartenders and entrepreneurs,” said Redding, who has hosted The Rusty Satellite Show podcast for five years. “I’m thrilled to be doing this with Carolyn, who brings a special energy and passion to the project.” Each episode will feature one of the city’s culinary stars, starting with Dave Danielson, Executive Chef at Churchill Downs, who will join the show at the Louisville.am studio in St. Matthews April 2.
