Musical evening at Gerstle’s to help LouisvilleKY charity

Louisville, KY – – Tommy Womack of the locally loved band, Government Cheese will be joined by guest musicians Lisa Oliver Grey and Ned Hill for a special evening of song and drink. Womack who now resides in Nashville, TN, played with the band Government Cheese from 1985 to 1992 and released his first solo album, Positively Na-Na, in 1998.

The event is set to kick off at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at Gerstle’s Place at 3801 Frankfort Ave. 

Tommy is proud to be back at a spot he has played many times in the past and to benefit such a worthy cause – Instrumental Partners.

Instrumental Partners donates gently used musical instruments to kids of Kentuckiana.

Danny Flanigan and the Rain Chorus will open the night with his soulful gift of creating an intimate setting through song.
