We have received an information release about this new event in New Albany, which is being held on Saturday, August 17 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 410 Pearl St.: “The Sip New Albany.” I’ve lightly edited the release to provide readers with the highlights.

Join us at “The Sip New Albany” on Saturday, August 17th as we highlight some of New Albany’s local talent, along with local businesses, artisans and vendors, all the while enjoying a sip of local wine, cocktails and craft beer.
A few of the participants:
Wineries: Huber, Best Vineyards and Ertel Cellars.
Breweries: Floyd County Brewing Company, Falls City and Butchertown Brewing.
Craft cocktails: REAL Infused syrups, from American Beverage Marketers (a global company located in New Albany) is being paired with Green River Bourbon, challenging bartenders from The Exchange, Brooklyn and the Butcher, Outcast, Pints & Union, Board & You, Fistful of Tacos and Distillery 64 to create cocktails for selection as the People’s Choice Award.
