Several years ago, I went to my first ever TEA Party event on April 15 in downtown Louisville. The people at this rally were of all ages. Most of the people I talked to that day were mad about how their taxes were being spent – that would be STUPIDLY. I could relate to this group of people because I felt the same way. It was the first time I ever heard the words UNDERCLASS which was coined by an African American minister when referring to what the Democrats has been doing to the African Americans in the United States. The same minister was calling for Charter Schools. Honestly, I didn’t even know what a charter school was at the time.
Excuse Me While I Save the World!

When I heard Andrew Breitbart was going to be the keynote speaker at the Patriot’s Banquet, part of the Freedom-Liberty Conference, I decided to go. Andrew Breitbart is the author of Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World!, publisher of Breitbart.tv, and BIGGOVERNMENT.COM. It was Breitbart who broke the ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) child sex trafficking and Weiner-Gate scandals. Because of his websites’ reporting, not only did Congress unanimously vote to defund ACORN which was getting millions of taxpayers’ money but Anthony Weiner (D-NY) finally resigned as well.
Breitbart’s book details how the progressives/liberals have rigged the messaging in schools, newspapers, network news, art, music, film and television by forcing the progressive agenda without anyone ever questioning the message. Breitbart calls it the Democrat Media Complex. I spent a lot of time watching the school textbook proceedings and was shocked at how political correct messaging was placed in textbooks without anyone knowing.
Breitbart wrote in his book that the term political correctness came directly from Mao Tse-tung. (Mao Tse-tung was a Chinese Communist revolutionary, guerrilla warfare strategist, Marxist political philosopher and leader of the Chinese Revolution).
The Country is Awakening!
Through the internet, the country is awakening according to Breitbart. For example, even though Democrats liken the OCCUPY groups across the country to the TEA Party, it’s just not true. TEA partiers are not paid like some of the OCCUPY groups are. (Honestly, I personally have never seen any TEA Party members pee on a cop car). Unlike the OCCUPY groups, Breitbart claims the TEA party is not anti-Semitic, they don’t want capitalism destroyed, and they are certainly not racist even though some African American politicians claimed they were spit on by Tea Partiers. But according to Breitbart none of the videos or pictures detailing the time frame did not produce any evidence that supported the idea that this happened.
In fact, many of the people are the OCCUPY groups according to Breitbart, have no clue as to why they are there. At the OCCUPY Sacramento, a local TV reporter, Tom Lopez, interviewed the protesters asking, “Why are you here?” Answer. Beats me. “Who is your leader?” Answer. Breitbart said the OCCUPY groups are being organized to counteract the TEA Party. However, TEA party minded people are more interested in ensuring their taxes are being utilized effectively and that America will be intact for their kids and their kids, not clueless as to why they are coming together. I have been to a number of TEA Party events locally and never have seen anyone who deserved to be peppered stray or taken to jail. OCCUPY groups are protesting the banks, corporate America, and seem to protesting capitalism in general. The groups have a long list of reasons for protesting which includes everything from A to Z according to Breitbart.
Breitbart said he interviewed Vanessa at the LA OCCUPY protest. She was young, beautiful, and smartly dressed. “Why are you protesting?” Answer. You can’t talk to these Capitalists. I am a socialist. “Who are your 3 most influential people? Answer. My college professor, my prison friend and my graduate professor. “Why is your friend in prison?” Answer. For robbery, because he’s poor.
“Racism is all They Have”
Breitbart claims that “racism is all they have.” (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. That fact surprised me. The Republican Party was formed to help abolish slavery).
“The mainstream media and liberals throw the word racism out if one does not support President Obama and his failed policies,” according to Breitbart. MSNBC anchor, Lawrence O’Donnell, was clearly trying to force Herman Cain, an African American GOP Presidential Candidate, to admit that he was not interested in defending African Americans since he nor his family did not actively participate in the Civil Rights movement. The interview was potent because Herman Cain wanted to talk about his plans for America rather than what happened during the Civil Rights movement. Check this out:
Breitbart admitted that he personally resents how the mainstream media is treating Herman Cain and has treated Conservative African Americans, Tim Scott (R-SC) and Allen West (R-FL) with such distaste. Both were recently elected to Congress in 2010. They seem to attack them by somehow painting a picture that they are not really authentic African Americans because they are conservative.
Two Sides of the Story
There are two sides to every story. For too many years while I was raising my kids and working 70 hours a week building my business, I just took what I read in newspapers or saw on TV as the TRUTH but now I am more skeptical. I spend more time checking out the whole story rather than just part of the picture.
