Barry’s Cheesesteaks and More signs national franchising deal with Ohio-based Elite Franchise

A locally owned cheesesteak restaurant is looking to go national through a franchise deal, and plans to open a second store in St. Matthews later this year.

Barry Washington, owner of Barry’s Cheesesteaks and More, has signed a franchising agreement with Lebanon, Ohio-based Elite Franchise. He will retain rights to the Barry’s Cheesesteaks in Louisville with a group of local investors while Elite will handle the national market.
