Bats and Pokemon pair up this weekend at LouisvilleKY’s Slugger Field

LOUISVILLE BATS TO HOST PAIR OF POKÉMON GO NIGHTS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Bats will host a pair of Pokémon Go nights this weekend at Louisville Slugger Field. On both Friday (6-9 p.m.) and Saturday (5-8 p.m.) night, fans can come to the ballpark and be guaranteed to catch Pokémon. The stadium will have three PokéStops and each will be lured for three hours both nights. The lures will begin when gates open (6 p.m.Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday) and last for three hours.
Fans who wish to purchase tickets for Pokémon Night may purchase them online at www.batsbaseball.com and earn $2 off the price of a normal ticket in advance of game day only when using the promo code: POKEMON (all caps).
On both nights there will be a contest for the strongest Pokémon caught and the most Pokémon caught during the timeframe. The fan(s) that shows their Pokémon Go Journal at the check-in table located at the Witherspoon gate entrance at the end of the contest and has collected thestrongest combat power Pokémon or the most Pokémon will each win a $50 Visa gift card.
Pokemon Go Night 
While at the ballpark, fans can battle the Pokémon they have caught at the Gym located on the corner of Preston and Main and battle for the right to earn control of the Louisville Slugger Field Pokémon Gym.
The Bats have drawn over 10 million fans since Louisville Slugger Field opened in April, 2000. Tickets for all regular season games are available.
