Best-Selling Author Liz Curtis Higgs to Speak at LouisvilleKY’s Christian Academy Gala on February 23

 
Louisville, KY – The Christian Academy School System, which provides a traditional education in a Christ-centered environment to more than 3,000 students on four campuses, will host its annual fundraiser on Friday, February 23 at 6:30pm. The 2018 Christian Academy Gala will be held at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, located at 280 West Jefferson Street, and will be emceed by WDRB-TV Anchor Elizabeth Woolsey. Best-selling author Liz Curtis Higgs will be the featured speaker at the event, which will include a VIP reception and book signing at 5:30pm, a silent auction emceed by Kelly K of the WDJX Ben Davis and Kelly K Morning Show beginning at 6:30pm, a live auction at 7:45pm, dinner at 8:00pm and speakers beginning at 8:45pm. Tickets start at $75 and are now on sale at http://caschools.us/gala. Proceeds from the Gala support Christian Academy’s Annual Fund, which is the highest fundraising priority for the school system because tuition and fees do not cover the cost to educate students. Every gift to the Fund provides an immediate impact to students and teachers through technology integration, teacher salaries, tuition assistance, athletics, fine arts, security upgrades and staff benefits.
