The constant rain, flooding, traffic jams and wet feet has got a little boring now – for most of us that is. I don’t know about you, but it is times like this that I really wish I had a boat – not a fancy one – just one that can get me to the store, or perhaps to work. Maybe a boat would be fun to go fishing in?
Now these kids have the same problem that I do – all except the going to work thing. But one has to admire their ingenuity. Look closely and you will see that this image is taken on Mellwood Avenue – round the corner from Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. The water at this point was around 4 foot deep. One more block and it was 6 foot deep!
Look closer still and you will see that this is a blow – up – mattress, with a broom for a paddle!
Now why didn’t I think of that?
