Bourbon stirred with a Cigar and mixed with a Gun

This was too good to pass up without writing about. I received an invite for an evening of cigars, bourbon, beer, food, music, guns, and more. It’s this Saturday, June 30th from 6pm to 10pm join at TG&G for Smokin Barrels. Maybe it’s because I am not originally from Louisville but Bourbon and Guns aren’t the first combination that comes to mind.
The invitation went further and invited me to come see Louisville’s favorite indoor gun range and training center, and tour their brand new 10,000 square foot Airsoft Arena. experience and sample cigars from the hottest boutique cigar company on the planet, Tatuaje as well as beer from KY Bourbon Barrel Ale and bourbon from Willett Pot Still Reserve. I am informed that I can also enjoy top notch food from Boomboz and Dish on Market etc etc
Then it gets odd again……… I can peruse other vendors from TG&G as they display and demonstrate some of the newest products and tactical gear. So……I will be eating food, smoking cigars, getting drunk on Bourbon and beer and then get scared out of my mind with people running around with guns in tactical gear. Hmmm, are they drinking bourbon too??
The purpose of this event is to raise money for The Academy of St. Andrews which is a one of a kind school for children with Autism, and proceeds from every ticket sale, cigar purchase, raffle ticket, and silent auction item, goes to benefit this great organization. OK now I feel bad for saying all those things about this event…..so here is the plug :-
Tickets are $35 in advance $40 at the door. Ticket include: A J Shepherd sampler collection of Tatuaje cigars, and a swag bag from TG&G and various vendors and sponsors. All food and drink are complimentary and donated so you will have more to spend on additional cigars, products, raffle items, and silent auction. Tickets can be reserved and purchased through J Shepherd by calling (502) 741-9125. As an added bonus, the first one hundred guests will receive a complimentary travel cigar ashtray with leather carrying case.
What am I missing? Feel free to comment and let me know.
