By Golly’s, coming in August to where the Hooters used to be in Clarksville

It’s all about the food, folks.

At Epic Eeats, our mission is to bring an innovative casual dining experience to the communities we serve. We want to be a leader in the restaurant industry, being known for quality food, local community engagement, and overall positive impact on our team members. The Epic Eeats vision is to build a globally recognized portfolio of restaurants that are revered for our commitment to quality and service.

(Stiff upper lip, Rog. Maybe a shot of mezcal for courage. Carry on … )

By golly, this “new to market chain” story begins last year when the longtime Hooters in Clarksville shuttered.

Sagging Hooters closes two Louisville area breastaurants

Because nature (as well as the commercial building at 941 E. Lewis & Clark Parkway) abhors a vacuum, investors often are spotted standing at the ready. Hence, this new occupant.

Okay, I’m done here.

Another new restaurant, and still no Töltött Káposzta in the Louisville metro area.

The struggle is real — and Michael L. Jones serves up the facts about By Golly’s at Louisville Business First.

By Golly’s Bar & Grill to open new location in former Hooters space

“Epic Eeats Restaurant Group as a whole is a very fun company to work for. We put a lot into our team, and we really want them to grow with us,” (By Golly’s Chief Operating Officer Heather) Frye said. “Not just stay — they can grow with us, if they like. There are many opportunities to move up within the company.”

By Golly’s is known for its burgers, salads, hoagies, flatbreads, and chicken or fish entrées, as well as appetizers such as wings, mozzarella sticks, loaded nachos and soft pretzels.

By the way, that’s not a misprint; the company spells the word this way: “Eeats.”

I asked Google why, and AI helpfully returned this answer: “The choice of ‘Eeats’ is a deliberate marketing strategy designed to make the name more impactful and engaging.”

Mezcal, please. Make it a double.
