Chef Jenner Tomaska and Katrina Bravo, the husband and wife duo behind the fine-dining restaurant Esmé in Chicago will bring their second-ever restaurant to NuLu. Since opening in 2021, Esmé has earned a Michelin star, one of the highest culinary honors.
Their new concept, called Byrdie’s, is expected to open this fall in the former spot of Rosette’s on the first floor of Hotel Genevieve, 730 E Market St., Tomaska and Bravo told the Courier Journal.
Bar Genevieve, the hotel’s upper floor watering station with a view, remains an ongoing entity.
