Louisville KY – – The Difabio Family will host its 3rd, Alzheimer’s Walk Benefit Night at both family-owned and operated locations Difabio’s Casapela Louisville and Difabio’s Casapela Madisonville on Saturday, Sept 3. Both locations will donate a portion of sales to Team Goldstein as they raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Walk on September 10^th taking place in Louisville, KY. “This disease is close to our hearts as it has affected my Uncle, my father’s twin brother. my mother, Laura, and father, Peter” explains Chef Caity Difabio, Frankfort Avenue owner and operator – her parents are the chef’s and owners of the Madisonville Difabio’s Casapela.

Dinner service will be regular operation hours featuring live music on the porch and a few food & Ballotin Whiskey drink specials celebrating the night plus a special Ballotin Whiskey Dessert – 3 warm Crispy Fried canolli shells stuffed with a sweetened Ricotta cheese and Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey soaked cherry filling.

Ballotin Whiskey Owner Paul Tuell is thrilled to help out with this worthy cause and partner with Difabio’s Caspaela, “We are proud to join in this effort with the Difabio Family, said Paul Tuell of Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey. We all have a stake in beating Alzheimer’s.”

Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey will also host a tasting at Father and Son’s Liquor Store (location) on Saturday, Sept 3 from 2pm-5pm, donating $1 for every person that visits the store and tastes the 1 ounce pours of the four different flavors – Original Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, Caramel Turtle and Bourbon Ball! $1 per pour will benefit Team Goldstein and their courage to end Alzheimer’s

The Difabio’s are ready to beat Alzheimer’s supporting family members and Team Goldstein, a dear childhood friend, Melissa Goldstein. Her father was recently diagnosed, Melissa and her two sisters formed a team to raise funds and awareness and Difabio’s and Ballotin Whiskey are cheering them on!
