EBONY names The House of Marigold and Ensō among the top Black-owned restaurants in America

Food & Dining Magazine’s contributing writer Cary Stemle is preparing a profile of The House of Marigold (10310 Shelbyville Rd.) for our Fall 2024 print issue, which you’ll see in September.

In the meantime, last week the restaurant figured in a news item at WLKY by Matthew Keck. Receiving co-billing was Ensō (1758 Frankfort Ave.)

EBONY Eats 45 named Enso and The House of Marigold in Louisville to its Top 45 Black-owned restaurants in the U.S.

The team at EBONY compiled a list of its favorite Black-owned restaurants across the states. The two Louisville restaurants were also the only two from Kentucky to make the list.

EBONY says the goal of the list is to pay homage to its founding in 1945, along with spotlighting Black-owned businesses in America.
