Edward Lee added to Louisville’s Louder than Life lineup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – LOUDER THAN LIFE continues expanding its weekend-long rock music, camping and Gourmet Man Food experience with the addition of celebrity chef Edward Lee (Food Network’s “Iron Chef,” Bravo’s “Top Chef”), a Louisville resident who’s spent a decade honing his vision at 610 Magnolia.  The rock and camping festival, set for October 3 and 4 at Champions Park in Louisville, Kentucky, will feature Lee’s cooking demonstrations along with chef Tom Coghill (Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”).

Festival producers also announced Tito’s Handmade Vodka as the official vodka of LOUDER THAN LIFE.

Attendees will have an opportunity to see chef Lee in action twice a day in Bourbon World presented by The Louisville Courier-Journal. One part Southern soul, one part Asian spice, and one part New York attitude, Lee is a Korean-American who grew up in Brooklyn and has become synonymous with Louisville’s foodie scene.

More than 70 vendors, along with celebrity chefs Lee and Coghill, who clenches a power saw to cut ribs for the smoker, will whip up culinary creations while a spectacular music lineup of rock legends and breaking talent amplifies LOUDER THAN LIFE’s four stages.  The lineup includes Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Godsmack, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, and Bring Me The Horizon, as well as live, in-ring matches with WWE®’s NXT® Superstars.

Exclusive onsite experiences include Spudz Chips’ creation of a Hot Brown flavored chip for LOUDER THAN LIFE.  Spudz will be in a giant green Army truck making fresh Hot Brown chips for attendees.

The impressive food and beverage lineup includes bourbon exhibitions and sampling with 17 bourbons, a selection of craft beer from 6 breweries and Gourmet Man Food.

Gourmet Man Food Village: The Gourmet Man Food Village will offer selections from Doc Crow’s, Iron Barley, Highway 61 Roadhouse, Momma’s Mustard, Pickles and BBQ, Spotz Gelato, Hi-Five Doughnuts, Art Eatables, Louisville Dessert Truck and many more.

Jägermeister is offering band signings in Jäger World, as well as a build your own cocktail experience bar where festival goers can tap their own inner mixologist and explore the different nuances of Jägermeister’s complex and balanced flavor.
