It’s the positive spin that the CardNation has been looking for. Georgia 4-star recruit Kevin Ware has committed to play for Louisville.

This is Ware’s third commitment, after originally signing with Tennessee early but leaving after Bruce Pearl was fired in Knoxville. Ware then chose the University of Central Florida but found himself making too hasty a decision withdrawing 10 days after a verbal commitment.
Ware is ranked as the #70 prospect in his class by Rivals.com. Sports fans may remember that he appeared at the Derby Festival Classic this year.
Rivals lists Ware as a Shooting Guard, but his mother Lisa Mack told the Courier Journal that she believes that Rick Pitino can turn her son “into a true point guard,” a position that Cards fans are still holding hope that Rodney Purvis will fill after Junior Peyton Siva leaves.
Ware is the fifth member of the 2011 recruiting class that continues to grow as Rick Pitino’s best ever.
Ware will sign a financial agreement this week and will enroll in Summer classes next month.
