- Tonight is the launch party for the 2011 Pink Lounge starting at 6 at the Dressing Room, 2836 Frankfort Avenue.

The Pink Tie Lounge benefits Susan G Komen for the Cure. The signature cocktail of the Pink Lounge will be served, known as the ‘Fleur de Pink’! Not sure who, but a live band will be there, too. Should be a good party! - Urban Active in St. Matthews will have a charity fundraising drive Friday through Sunday to benefit Kosair Charities. The location at 4900 Shelbyville Road hopes to sign up 300 new members, who will receive food supplied by area restaurants and a free car wash. The sign-up fee for month-to-month membership will be reduced to $10 during the drive, with half of that going to Kosair. But the month-to-month membership price, $29.95, will remain the same.
