(Louisville) – Monday evening, 12 local companies received EnterpriseCorp’s Hot & Fast Innovation Awards, presented by Dean Dorton and Hilliard Lyons. The awards honor the companies that are the early-stage innovators (HOT) and fast-growth “gazelles” (FAST).
“The criteria to receive an award this year were much more rigorous,” Lisa Bajorinas, Executive Director of EnterpriseCorp, said. ”The companies selected are all using technology in new, exciting and innovative ways.”

FreshFry LLC — Aspires to feed the world better tasting food by constantly providing every consumer facing kitchen the best oil quality and longest useful life.
Mailhaven Inc. – Is the easiest way to track, manage and receive online packages preventing missed deliveries and stolen packages.
Stinger Equipment Inc. — Manufactures revolutionary equipment for landscape professionals, featuring the World’s First Hydro-static Wheelbarrow, the Go Barrow 9000.
Switcher Studio — Is a video creation platform. The service includes access to the Switcher iOS video mixing app, cloud services, desktop tools and support. Users can sync up to 4 iPhones and iPads to record and stream LIVE video with TV quality results and share instantly on YouTube, Facebook and more.
Virtual Peaker LLC — Helps electric utilities manage their residential load using internet connected devices. They offer a software-as-a-service platform that utilizes real-time control and machine learning to provide best in class energy management and customer engagement.
Fast Companies
Bourbon Barrel Foods LLC — Produces a collection of all-natural, award-winning gourmet foods that embrace the history and mystique of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country.
Capture Higher Ed LLC – Is the world’s best at using big data and cutting-edge technology to attract, engage, and recruit mission-fit students. Capture maximizes engagement at the most influential times, delivering a better ROI to its partners. Capture’s technology provides highly customizable, on-demand data, to easily measure outcomes in real time.
Cuddle Clones LLC — Creates custom stuffed animals of people’s pets and most recently, slippers made to look like people’s pets. Other products include custom 3D-printed sandstone figurines and ornaments, custom granite and bass-wood memorials, and several other custom accessories and products. In August, Cuddle Clones acquiredcartoonizemypet.com, an online customization engine in which people can create a one-of-a-kind cartoon version of their pet and turn that cartoon into over 250 custom products such as apparel, gift wrap, stationery, and pet bowls.
Edumedics LLC — Is a Population Health Management Company who helps their clients improve the health of their group while reducing the cost of care. Their clinical team is particularly adept at managing those with chronic conditions like diabetes and COPD, and they serve both Medicare and under-65 populations.
El Toro LLC — Brings the location-specific accuracy of direct mail to digital advertising. Through their patent-pending technology they target digital ads to their customer by matching their IP address with their physical address, bringing a wide variety of banner and display ads to the sites the targeted customer visits on the Internet.
Rivera Group – Provides software development and IT solutions. EAGLE6, their newest product, is a predictive modeling tool that revolutionizes the management and security of complex IT systems by alerting customers of conflicts, anomalous behaviors and threats before they result in systems failure.
