This week Great Flood Brewing Company took to Instagram to announce the closing of its restaurant in Middletown (12717 Shelbyville Road).
“Last night was our official last night in Middletown. Thank you for the four and a half years we had serving you. Please feel free to visit us at our highlands location which will continue to operate as normal.”
The Highlands taproom is located at 2120 Bardstown Road.

The company was founded in 2014 by Matt Fuller and Zach Barnes. In 2020, our research team noted Great Flood was the fourth-largest producer of beer in Louisville based on production volume. This year, however, they did not respond to our annual brewer survey, so the exact production volume is unknown.
