Following is the text of the social media announcement by the burgeoning Harry’s sports bar empire:
BIG NEWS…AND ITS FINALLY OFFICIAL
We’re beyond excited to formally announce what everyone’s been buzzing about… Harry’s Taphouse & Kitchen is coming to Georgetown, Indiana! That’s right — we’re opening our 3rd location, and we couldn’t be more stoked about it.
Georgetown, we’re ready to bring you the same crave-worthy food, top-notch service, and the unmatched atmosphere you’ve come to expect from Harry’s. But more than anything, we’re excited to become a part of your community and create a place where friends, families, and fans can come together.
This is just the beginning… stay tuned.
(Someone’s slipping; there is absolutely no mention of “ice-cold” beer, without which apparently civilization crawls to a standstill.)
The future address is 7600 IN-64, three-quarters of a mile east of the Georgetown Drive-In.
Harry’s will be moving into the space vacated by 812 Pizza, which closed at the end of January. There is no firm ETA, but the Harry’s team tends to move with crispness and efficiency, so stay tuned to their web site.
