Louisville, Ky. (December 14, 2015) – Helping those in need has never been this easy – or delicious! Louisville-based fast-casual restaurantYang Kee Noodle announced today that it will host a fundraiser for Dare to Care Food Bank all day Thursday, December 17 at both its Oxmoor Mall and Middletown locations.
“Yang Kee Noodle will donate 20 percent of proceeds from all snacks, soups, salads and stir-fries sold to help ensure Kentuckiana children and families don’t go hungry this holiday season,” said Dan Huckestein, Operating Partner for Yang Kee Noodle. “Dare to Care has a long history of providing meals for those who need it most.”
Yang Kee Noodle debuted in 2003 with its Oxmoor Mall location and has become a Louisville staple since then. The Middletown restaurant opened its doors earlier this year in June. Signature dishes include Firecracker Chicken, Classic Pad Thai, Mongolian Stir-Fry, Lo Mein, Green Curry Chicken and more. A kids’ menu is also available. (View the full menu here.)

Every dollar donated will make a difference in conquering the cycle of need,” said Stan Siegwald, Director of Policy and Planning for Dare to Care. “Yang Kee Noodle is a local favorite, so we are expecting great turnout for the event.”
Money donated by Yang Kee Noodle will benefit Dare to Care’s many programs that help feed our communities, including Kids Café and Backpack Buddy, which provide warm, nutritious meals to children across Kentucky and Indiana.
