The third annual iteration of Rollin’ on the River Fest will take place on Saturday, May 30 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (kindly note that the “early entry” VIP tickets have already sold out) at Big Four Station Park, located in downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana adjacent to the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge.
Proceeds from “Rollin’ on the River Fest” go to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
Given that in three short years the festival has graduated from the more sedate confines of the Howard Steamboat Museum to the urban expanse of Big Four Station, we can surmise that outdoor beer fests aren’t dead quite yet.
Along these demographic lines, the event now is being referred to as a “fest,” not a “beer fest,” demonstrating that whether the kids are alright or not, all and sundry hope they’re still subject to the iron fist of semantics.
Rollin’ on the River is produced by Antz Marching LLC and Pearl Street Taphouse; a full list of sponsoring entities can be viewed here.
As savvy readers know, Antz Marching is LLC is the corporate identity of Todd Antz, legendary former owner of The Keg Liquors in Clarksville and New Albany. For those who recall The Keg’s Fest of Ale, know that the rights to that name were relinquished when Antz sold his stores. Hence the renamed (though just as joyous) revival.
