The text: “The Louisville-born fried chicken joint is coming to 3505 Grant Line Road in the old Skyline Chili location.”
Straight and to the point from the News and Tribune. The regional — not national — chain was founded in Louisville in 1981, and Indi’s is to be properly distinguished from “indie” (short for independent); the restaurant is named for the owners’ daughter, Indira.

As an aside, the new Indi’s Chicken will be located exactly five miles (and 11 minutes by car) away from The Chicken House.
