Friday, January 8, 2016 — Showtime – 7pm – Midnight. Louisville’s Headliners Music Hall — $15
Louisville, KY—Time to “dance to the music” to the sounds of FOUR bands ready to JAM in support of a World Free of MS and the National MS Society Kentucky Southeast Indiana Chapter ! Bands include, Greg Foresman Band, John Mann, Danny Flanigan & the Rain Chorus and The Tim Krekel Tribute Band featuring Greg Foresman, Tim Halcomb, Aaron Montgomery and other members of the local band, V-Groove. The late Tim Krekel was a much-loved guitarist, recording/performing artist and song writer, who played with Jimmy Buffet and toured with the Eagles

Greg Foresman Band and Aaron Montgomery have co-hosted Jam for a Cure (JFAC) since 2008. Funds are raised through raffle tickets ($5-$10), concert ticket sales and donations. JFAC originated when Greg Foresman and Aaron Montgomery wanted to do something to give back to their community. Montgomery says, “We decided to organize our friends in the musical community to contribute their talents to an event that could help raise money and awareness for/about issues/causes that could benefit from additional community support.” He continues to say that “JFAC partnered with the National MS Society the second year because my mom has multiple sclerosis.” And in a twist of fate, Aaron was also diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2012 shortly before JFAC performed that year. JFAC has continued to partner with The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and have raised over $150, 000 since inception.
Mary Carabella, National MS Society states, “Jam for a Cure combines philanthropic passion with musical genius making this an event not to be missed. The generosity of Greg Foresman, Aaron Montgomery, Headliners Music Hall and the musicians who donate their time is a testament to their character, commitment and integrity.”
