KDF offers VIP seating for its LouisvilleKY concerts

 Louisville, KY. – You can be front row at your favorite Derby Festival concert. The Festival’s Waterfront Jam VIP Viewing Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. These exclusive tickets which offer front row viewing will be offered for 4 of the 7 national concerts. Beginning April 27 at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville, the concerts include MAX, Tyler Farr, Judah & The Lion, and Sheila E. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at KDF.org. General admission to all shows is FREE with a 2018 Pegasus Pin. Kroger sponsors the Waterfront Jam.

  • Singer, songwriter “MAX” Schneider got his start writing music with Disney’s Shake It Up and starred as Zander in the Nickelodeon hit show How To Rock. Now, MAX’s own hit song “Lights Down Low” has taken the charts by storm. Logan Henderson, a former member of Big Time Rush, now focusing on a solo career, will open the show.

The Waterfront Jam also features the Miller Lite Music Stage, where daily live local and regional music acts will perform. Enjoy a variety of music, including R&B, rock, country, blues and bluegrass. Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville opens Thursday, April 26, for a nine-day run ending Derby Eve, Friday, May 4. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, except Sunday 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Admission is a 2018 Pegasus Pin. Kroger is title sponsor of the event, with Media Sponsor The Courier-Journal.

Since 1956, the Derby Festival has worked to bring the community together in celebration. The Festival is an independent community organization supported by 4,000 volunteers, 400 businesses and civic groups, Pegasus Pin sponsorships and event participation. This involvement has made the Festival the largest single attended event in Kentucky and one of the leading community celebrations in the world.
