Louisville, KY., – With the accompaniment of Butler Traditional High School Marching Band’s drumline and drum majors, the last beam was set Thursday, officially topping off the Kentucky International Convention Center’s expansion. The $200 million renovation project is expected to be complete by August 2018.

Great ready for a convention boom in Louisville. It’s the official topping off of the KY International Convention Center. The completion of the $200 million renovation project is set for next August. It will allow us to compete for 25% more convention business. There is 200,000 square feet of exhibit space & a 40,000 square foot ballroom.
