Louisville, KY – – APRON Inc. presents the 4th Annual Dine-Around event featuring participating restaurants donating a portion of their profits. Choose a spot to have breakfast, lunch or dinner from the list below and know you have just helped a person in need who works in the F&B industry!
The mission of APRON Inc. is to provide temporary, limited financial aid to professionals in need who work in locally owned restaurants and F&B industry based establishments. Clients have either experienced financial distress due to an illness, injury or other life changing hardships and need financial relief. The funds raised at ALL APRON Inc. events go directly to locals in need. Chef Ellen Gill McCarty, Science Hill Inn states, “I am so excited to participate in another great APRON fundraising event – Dine-Around not only allows you to eat at some great restaurants, but you also get to help support a great organization which helps so many in the hospitality industry… I should know firsthand since APRON helped me in 2014 after being diagnosed ovarian cancer, I was overwhelmed with financial difficulties, their support help ease the stress! Please come and dine on February 3 and make this Dine-Around a success.”
The Louisville independent restaurant scene keeps growing and growing, so APRON Inc. grew out of the need to support the workers at such establishments who fall on hard times, mostly, though not entirely, relating to unexpected medical costs. “We are so lucky here in Louisville- we are quickly becoming a major food destination through the hard work and passion of the workers in our Independent Restaurant Community.APRON’s Dine-Around event is a great way to help support those workers who find themselves in financial need through no fault of their own- and all
