Louisville Ky registered pets get amnesty for the month of April

Louisville, Ky., – Metro Animal Services director Jessica Montgomery has declared April as Amnesty Month for Overdue Pet Licenses.

Late fees will be waived when you renew your pet’s license in April.

There are four ways to license a dog, cat or ferret in Louisville:

1.      License your pet online

2.      Download and mail-in your license

3.      License your pet at a participating vet

4.      Come into our business office, 3705 Manslick Road or our Adoptions Center, 3516 Newburg Road Proof of current rabies vaccine for each pet is required.
