Louisville Ky Whisky Chicks invites all women for libations next week to celebrate anniversary

Louisville, Kentucky – On a very cold January night in 2014, 30+ women gathered at Down One Bourbon Bar for the first Whisky Chicks event. The strong turnout made it clear that these women love their Bourbon and wanted to learn more about the Kentucky-made spirit and other types of whiskies from around the world. Since that cold night two years ago, Whisky Chicks has hosted over 20 events, raised close to $40,000 for charity and brought together over 500 women to mix, mingle and learn about whisky and bourbon.

We collaborate and bring the rock stars of the bourbon industry to share their knowledge and expertise and we strive to create new and fun experiences for all women.”

The event begins at 6PM and guests can expect many surprises throughout the evening including an array of

The Whisky Chicks are a on a mission to introduce and educate more women to the pleasures of a good glass of whisky, while making good friends along the way. From the novice to the connoisseur, the young professional to the great grandmother, they have something for everyone.

Founded in January 2014 by successful entrepreneur Linda Ruffenach, the Whisky Chicks concept originated during a discussion among friends over cocktails about how challenging it is to meet other women who share an appreciation for bourbon. The Whisky Chicks are hospitable, strong women that love bourbon adventures.

They appreciate making new friends outside of their job, spouses or kids. They also love to get involved in the community, and give back by hosting an annual fundraiser and other non-profit experiences throughout the year. For more information see their website www.WhiskyChicks.com.
