LouisvilleKY Lands New Smart Technology Tradeshow  

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 4, 2019) – Louisville is getting smarter this September. The organizers of the world’s largest manufacturing show will debut a new smart technology trade show called Digital Industry USA (DIG/IN USA) in Bourbon City.

The Digital Industry USA show, owned by Hannover Fairs USA, Inc (HFUSA), will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) September 10-12, 2019 showcasing futuristic innovations such as:

  • Artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Cobots (robots that physically interact with humans)
  • Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and related applications
  • More efficient use of raw materials, faster time to market and other industrial manufacturing trends

Digital Industry

In addition to exhibits and educational presentations, the show will feature a start-up area and hackathon, as well as virtual reality space to demonstrate a variety of technologies.

HFUSA, one of the world’s largest and most active organizers of industrial technology events will host a high-level executive conference in conjunction with DIG/IN USA, featuring local area tours of a distillery utilizing IIoT equipment, the Toyota plant and the UPS distribution center in Louisville.

There are an estimated 5,000 attendees for the show using nearly 8,000 hotel rooms, along with an estimated economic impact of $3.5 million for Louisville.
