Louisville, KY, – – The Jewish Community Relations Council and The J (formerly known as JCC) invites the entire community to enjoy this captivating production,“I Never Saw Another Butterfly”, (directed by John Leffert staring local actors) dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust victims as a vow that it will never happen again!
Matt Goldberg, Director of Community Relations-Jewish Federation of Louisville: “As we get further and further away from the events of the Holocaust, it is more important than ever that we continue to tell the story of what happened at the hands of the Nazis. A fitting way to tell the story is through the arts, as the art created by the victims of the Holocaust… music, art, poetry… is a powerful tug at the heart. This event will tell a heartbreaking story of how the prison walls of the Terezin concentration camp inspired the prisoners to scream out in terror, with the arts as their voice. The victims of the Holocaust demand that we hear, see, and feel what they went through, so we never forget, so we ensure that it never happens again.”
