Louisville, KY., – It appears Kroger’s Louisville Division will end its popular Senior Discount Program. Several news organizations are reporting that the mega grocery chain is ending it’s 5 percent discount June 22nd.
According to WDRB.com, removing the 5 percent discount is part of a “price-reduction plan” that will result in lower prices to “benefit all of its customers”.
Of course, Kroger officials say, these seniors, many living on a fixed income, can continue to save with fuel points, coupons and that Free Friday download.
