Shoppers can now stock home bar from unmatched selection of 8,000 wines, 3,000 spirits and 2,500 beers
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 6, 2016) — Total Wine & More, America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer, opened its doors to the public today. Located in the former Earth Fare location at the Paddock Shops, 4320 Summit Plaza Dr. #5, the new Louisville store is Total Wine’s first in Kentucky. The grand opening celebration features live music and free wine tastings, and 10 percent of wine sales opening weekend (Oct. 6 through Oct. 9) will be donated to the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. In the 25,000 square feet of retail space, shoppers will find a climate-controlled wine cellar; walk-in cigar humidor; padded floors; tasting bar; “brewery district” with a growler station; concierge service; free access to a wine pairing app and complimentary educational books about wine, beer and spirits.
Total Wine & More held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last night with store officials during their invitation-only preview event. More than 200 people got a first look and sip of the superstore’s ample selection.
