LouisvilleKY”s Vincenzo’s to hold fundraiser for Derby Festival Foundation

June 10th Event to Feature 5 Courses, Cooking Demonstrations, Wine Pairings

Louisville, KY.   – Vincenzo and Agostino Gabriele will host their seventh annual “Night at Vincenzo’s” fund-raiser for the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation on Sunday, June 10.  The elegant event will be held at Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant in Louisville. The benefit, which is open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails on the patio, followed by hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert at 7 p.m.

“We’re looking forward to another delicious five-course meal,” said Chad McTighe, Chair of the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation. “The Gabriele brothers really go all out to make this a memorable evening for everyone, and it’s all for a great cause.”

This year’s menu includes Prosciutto di parma with caponata on toast points, Crepes Agostino, Agostino Salad, Filet, Strawberry Flambe and more.  Plus, each course is served with a special wine pairing provided by Old 502 Winery, Official Wine Partner of the Kentucky Derby Festival. Proceeds from the event help the Foundation continue its mission of supporting charities around the community.

Tickets cost $1,800 for a VIP Table of 10 or $150 per person.  Guests will be chosen from the VIP tables to be a “Guest Chef or Guest Sommelier” for the evening. The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation, a 501 C 3 not-for-profit charity, receives and manages charitable contributions on behalf of the Kentucky Derby Festival, Inc., its supporters and the general public. The Foundation perpetuates the Festival’s impact on the community by developing projects that highlight the Festival’s influence on the area’s cultural heritage.  It works to further the Festival’s educational and charitable mission through exhibitions and performances.
