Louisville’s Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream continues to expand

Louisville, KY., – Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream®, a newly launched ice cream manufacturer located in Louisville KY, has expanded its distribution in Kentucky and Indiana through Piazza Produce and several new partnerships with area restaurants.

For signature flavors, the ice cream manufacturer works directly with local restaurants to develop flavors that complement existing dessert menus.  For example, Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream is now included on the menu at the new Smoke & Rye restaurant inside Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel & Casino. Bernoulli Flavorologist Allysan Comstock worked with Executive Chef Teagan Lucero at Smoke & Rye to develop a unique Lemon Ice Cream to complement Smoke & Rye desserts. Other flavors to be enjoyed there will be Bernoulli’s signature Tahitian Vanilla, Strawberry, and an intense Decadent Chocolate.  At Molly Malone’s restaurants in the Highlands, St. Matthews, & Covington, you can now find Irish Brown Bread Ice Cream from Bernoulli, yet another signature flavor at the request of Molly Malone’s management team.

“Working with Allysan and Bernoulli’s, we were able to develop a fantastic ice cream that complimented our blackberry cobbler. We really wanted something special and we tried every available lemon ice cream we could find.  Nothing really wowed us, so we got in touch with Allysan at Bernoulli’s through a mutual vendor, and the results were just amazing. Working on Smoke & Rye we really wanted to think about the entire experience and not be limited to just what was available. Being able to provide something unique for our guests while working with a Kentucky Proud business is a win-win for us here at Horseshoe,” said Teagen Lucero, the executive chef of Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel & Casino.

Bernoulli product is now being distributed through Piazza Produce from the Louisville, KY operation. In addition to this distribution channel, Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream can be purchased in pints at The Wild Ramp Farmers Market in Huntington West Virginia; Louisville Coffee Co. in Jeffersontown; and The Root Cellar in Germantown and via Appalachian Wholesale. “Bernoulli is actively pursuing distribution points to all the local hotels and soon will be on area grocer’s shelves,” said Bernoulli Flavorologist  and Co-Founder Allysan Comstock.

The Bernoulli brand is owned by CAM Industries LLC, and was founded by Brian and Allysan Comstock, both Louisvillians. The veteran-owned Kentucky Proud small business operates in the Bluegrass Corporate Center in Jeffersontown at 408A Production Court in Louisville.
“Bernoulli Small Batch Ice Cream is a super-premium craft ice cream manufacturing business. This idea started over 30 years ago and we put it into action in January of 2014. By March we were making and sampling ice cream at our home with commercial equipment and on September 1 we moved into leased space at the Bluegrass Corporate Center in Jeffersontown,” said Co-Founder Brian Comstock. The production kitchen lobby is open to the public on Tuesdays from 12-7 PM for freezer raids or by special arrangements. The Bernoulli niche will remain working with chefs and individuals to create special custom ice creams for their menus or events. According to Bernoulli Flavorologist  and Co-Founder Allysan Comstock, “Our limits are your imagination!”
