Louisville, Ky., – Louisville’s Brown Hotel has been nominated for three separate awards from the Historic Hotels of America. They include Sustainability Champion, Best City Center Historic Hotel, and Best Historic Restaurant in Conjunction with a Historic Hotel (English Grill).

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Historic Hotels of America is pleased to announce the nominees for the 2015 Awards of Excellence. Historic Hotels of America Awards of Excellence recognize and celebrate the finest historic hotels and hoteliers across the nation. The 2015 Annual Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner will take place at West Baden Springs Hotel (1902) at French Lick Resort in West Baden Springs, Indiana on Thursday, October 8 at 7 pm. The final award winners will be announced to recipients before an audience of owners, senior management, industry leaders, and representatives from the finest historic hotels across the United States.
Award recipients were selected from nominees received from historic hotels, historic preservation supporters, and leadership from Historic Hotels of America.
