The Comfy Cow was founded in 2009 by Roy and Tim Koons-McGee to satisfy their life-long dreams of creating and producing one of a kind super-premium ice cream from the finest ingredients with their own handcrafted touch. They believe that vibrant communities make for rich lives, and to that end, through their ice cream shops, they believe in giving back to the communities they serve.

Jeffersonville makes the sixth shop for The Comfy Cow.  They will also be opening shops in Brentwood, TN, and another in Louisville (Middletown) in mid-June. In addition, The Comfy Cow Ice Cream can be found in many of Louisville’s finest restaurants and specialty stores as well as Louisville’s Whole Foods. This is the second Comfy Cow location for 23 Scoops, LLC, owned by local residents Lincoln & Loren Ogden and Bryan & Debbie Flowers.

“We are excited to become an important piece of the Jeffersonville community. The Comfy Cow fundamental aspects of positive attitude, atmosphere, and enjoyment are an integral part of our overall Comfy Cow philosophy. We plan to provide a place for the community to build memories while enjoying ice cream and sharing smiles,” said co-owner Debbie Flowers.
