“This year though is another exciting year in store for everyone here at the Kingdom because we’re not adding just one new attraction, we’re adding eight new attractions,” said John Mulcahy, spokesman for Kentucky Kingdom told WLKY.

Park officials estimate that more than 2,000 people showed up to Kentucky Kingdom on Saturday for the start of preview weekend.

“What’s really been gratifying, yesterday even in the rain, was to walk through the park and see so many familiar faces already,” Mulcahy said. WLKY.comKentucky Kingdom coaster

Season pass holders are getting another perk this year: free parking.

The Park is adding eight more attractions to this year’s slate of amusements. They include the Wizard of Oz 5-D experience and Raging Rapids River Ride, as well as several new rides and the T3 Roller Coaster.
