Mayan Street Food is leaving Gravely Brewing Co. at year’s end

As a preface to Gravely Brewing Co.’s food supply announcement, a quick vocabulary booster. If you know, you know.

A salbut is a puffed deep fried tortilla that is topped with lettuce, sliced avocado, pulled chicken or turkey, tomato and pickled red onion. Salbutes originate from the Yucatán peninsula and are a staple in Belize. Salbutes are mostly sold in the evenings when parties of friends or family go out to eat.  (source: Wikipedia)

However, other edibles will have to suffice in 2023, because Mayan Street Food at Gravely’s craft beer campus (514 Baxter Ave.) will cease at year’s end.
