Memorial Weekend Bash and Fundraiser Helps MIA/POW’S Find Their Way Home

Mallory Lewis and Lamb Chop will be hosting a unique event in support of the Bentstar Project – an organization helping bring POW/MIAs back home to their families.  Music by local artist Patrick Henry Hughes, Heavy hors d’oevres, grab bags, Kentucky Ale and Helwig wine as well as Street performers.

Admission is free but 100% of all donations and proceeds from the event go to BentStar.org .

The BentStar Project is a 501 (c)3 charity and the funding arm of the BentProp Project. BentProp team members, real life Indiana Jones adventurers, travel to the islands of Palau searching for World War II POW/MIAs. In the process of finding and identifying lost planes the team solves the mystery of the airmen who went missing with their aircraft. They have been responsible for identifying dozens of missing US aircraft and returning the remains of airmen formerly listed as MIA to their families. The United States lists some 88,000 as Missing in Action from her conflicts around the globe. Over 75,000 of those missing are from the battles of WWII
