Louisville, KY – Oldies, Country, Pop and Beatles Music are lined up for the upcoming FridayFest at Highview Park.
Metro Councilmembers James Peden (District 23), Madonna Flood (District 24) and Vicki Aubrey-Welch (District (13) are sponsoring the free summer concert series at Highview Park for the fourth straight year based on the success of the former Music in the Metro. A different concert will be held every other Friday through August and the event is open to the public, family friendly, and free.
Local vendors will be on hand with a variety of food options, and people are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the show. Highview Park is located at 7201 Outer Loop, (enter through Briscoe Lane.)
