Mitchell’s Fish Market in the East End has concluded a 23-year run, having opened in late October of 2001. From a peak of 22 national locations in 2008, the seafood chain out of Ohio now has contracted to only six.

Mitchell’s Fish Market, an upscale-casual seafood restaurant that’s been around for more than 20 years, will no longer operate at the Paddock Shops in east Louisville.
Shah Ghani, chief operating officer of Landry’s dining brands, confirmed Mitchell’s closed on Saturday in a statement to the Courier Journal. He said the restaurant’s lease at 4031 Summit Plaza Drive “came to an end.”
