LOUISVILLE, Ky. – September 10, 2015 – LOUDER THAN LIFE, a weekend-long rock music and camping fest set for October 3 and 4 at Champions Park in Louisville, Kentucky, has announced additions to its mouthwatering culinary lineup. The impressive food and beverage lineup includes bourbon exhibitions and sampling with 17 bourbons, a selection of craft beer from 6 breweries, Gourmet Man Food and a celebrity chef using a power saw to slice meat

More than 70 vendors, along with celebrity chef Tom Coghill (Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”), who clenches a power saw to cut ribs for the smoker, will whip up culinary creations while a spectacular music lineup of rock legends and breaking talent amplifies LOUDER THAN LIFE’s four stages. The lineup includes Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Godsmack, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, and Bring Me The Horizon, as well as live, in-ring matches with WWE®’s NXT® Superstars.
Festival goers will have an array of local mouthwatering options to sink their teeth into, including Louisville’s Momma’s Mustard, Pickles and BBQ’s famous dry rub wings, Doc Crow’s slow smoked beef brisket and Black Rock Grille’s rock grilled burger and hand cut fries.

Jack Daniel’s will bring a “Taste of Tennessee” to Louisville as an official sponsor of LOUDER THAN LIFE. The Jack Daniel’s experience, a mobile museum, is bringing a little of the much-loved distillery from Lynchburg. The experience is open to those over 21, which includes free tours throughout the festival. Jägermeister, the iconic German elixir made from 56 select botanicals, returns for LOUDER THAN LIFE’s second year. Jägermeister is offering band signings in Jäger World, as well as a build your own cocktail experience bar where festival goers can tap their own inner mixologist and explore the different nuances of Jägermeister’s complex and balanced flavor.
Community leaders like Mayor Greg Fischer can’t wait for the festival’s return to Champions Park. “Louisville is home to some of the world’s best music and food and there’s definitely only one area to come to for bourbon, so where else would you have a festival experience such as LOUDER THAN LIFE? We’re excited that we can host this great event in such a super venue down by our waterfront and show all the music, food and bourbon fans what our city and people are all about,” Fischer said.
