A legacy of sandwiches and more! Founded in 1983 by Mr. Rolesh Shah in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, New Freezeland has been delighting taste buds with its exceptional food and beverages for over four decades.

Whatever one’s view of chain-think, New Freezeland’s menu is utterly unique compared with the usual burgers, chicken and fries approach. Louisville Business First’s Joel Stinnett has more: New Freezeland to open first Louisville location.

Founded in 1983 in India, New Freezeland has locations in India, Canada and the U.S., opening its first U.S. store in Schaumburg, Illinois, according to its website. The restaurant offers grilled sandwiches, jumbo grilled clubs, wraps, fries, nachos, burgers, muska bun, chaat and bhakhri pizza. New Freezeland also sells pasta dishes, garlic breads, Indo Chinese dishes, Bombay tawa, Indian coffee, mojitos and milk shakes.

The location: 2116 Hurstbourne Parkway (TaylorHurst Shopping Center) in Hurstbourne Acres. New Freezeland is hoping to be open in December, 2025.
