It’s difficult to describe the Forecastle crowd — it spans the spectrum of humanity. All ages, body types, dress and levels of outrageousness. We can all agree that it was most unbearably hot for most of the weekend. But with the exception of a shortened set from Sam Smith on Friday, everything that was planned happened.
And that was good. I spent a few hours there Friday and Saturday, long enough for a few PBRs and a rocking’ set from St. Paul and the Broken Bones, now a favorite band. LouisvilleKY.com’s photographer Bill Brymer was turned loose with an assignment that consisted of these words — “just shoot anything you find interesting.”
