On Wednesday, Sept. 23, a special benefit event will take place at Gordon Biersch at 4th Street Live. This is a great opportunity to enjoy great beer and support Stage One.
Gordon Biersch is honored to host its Inaugural, Pint’s for ½ Pints Charity Fundraiser Sept. 23 from 6-9pm.
“Each year, StageOne serves nearly 80,000 children and families. With children from more than 30 counties attending, we have the most diverse audience of any arts group,” said Peter Holloway, executive director of Stage One. “And thanks to your generosity, thousands of these children experience the arts at zero ticket cost. We are very excited to partner with Gordon Biersch for this event! “
GB will be offering $3 pints of its popular Blonde Bock beer, with all proceeds benefitting Stage One Family Theatre. Gordon Biersch hosts Pint Parties throughout the year assisting local organizations such as The Parkinson Support Center – “We are thrilled to partner with StageOne, which uses theatre to educate and inspire the children of our community!” said Jason Smith, general manager of Louisville’s Gordon Biersch.
In addition to the beer, Stage One will offer $5 raffle tickets on a Bottomless Growler (fill-up once a week for 6 months) from Gordon Biersch AND a StageOne Family Theatre Season “Family Pass”. The Family Pass, valued at $520, includes all season production tickets at a super discounted rate. Productions include: The BFG (Big Friendly Giant), A Year with Frog and Toad, And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Storytellers and Movies; along with discounts on StageOne camps and tickets to community partner events!
Come join us to toast with Das Boot, enjoy some great beer and donate to a great cause. And there will be a special appearance by “The Giant.”
