Quick Storm Leaves Damage in Highlands

Vicki points out the double rainbow outside Slugger Field just after the storm passed

Quite a night. The storm pushed through downtown about 6, and the Louisville Bats were playing by 7. The Bats lost 5-4 on a beautiful night in which the only storm result was that the card-processing machines at the concession stand didn’t work for much of the game. But the storm left a devastating wake across town. Hit especially hard were the Highlands and St. Matthews, and power outages continue this morning.

Our own Chris Ritter, who’s without power this morning, sent some photos from Richmond Avenue in the Highlands.
