Growing dining destination launches week-long culinary celebration

PROSPECT, Ky. (January 4, 2016)— Norton Commons announced today a new restaurant week coming to the growing new urbanist community in northeast Louisville. Monday, January 23 through Monday January 30, participating restaurants will offer patrons three-course dinner menus including appetizer, entrée, and dessert from $15, $20, and $25.For further details, or to make reservations, visit: nortoncommons.com.

“The dining scene keeps picking up steam,” said Marilyn Osborn Patterson, Marketing Director and General Counsel for Norton Commons. “The community is now a culinary destination, with nationally-recognized chefs serving up everything from South American street food fusion, to casual Italian trattoria, and beyond.” Restaurants participating in Norton Commons Restaurant Week include; Mercato Italiano; Citizen 7; The 502 Bar & Bistro; Tea Station Asian Bistro; Karem’s Grill & Pub; and Johnny Brusco’s.

The walkable neighborhood now counts seven eateries, and will soon welcome an eighth, Wild Ginger, in the next several months. Norton Commons is also home to an independent coffeehouse; a wine, bourbon and beer bar; and an award-winning gelato shop.
