How Noah Felt: 23 of 32 days, we’ve had rain. The Bats tried to schedule a doubleheader today, starting at 10. Unlikely. But at least Osama’s dead and it’s Derby Week. And since it’s also the May sweeps, some pretty good TV.

Memories of Geraldo: The WHAS promos made you think there was some sort of Geraldo-like reveal. Not so. But Doug Proffitt did take viewers down under Main Street, next to the Arena, to find an art colony and rooms long-ago left behind. The big news, though — restaurateur Bob Means, with help from developer Bill Weyland, will open “The Trolls Pub Under the Bridge” at a pub there. It will open this summer.
In Search of Bare Breasts: WAVE is promoting an undercover look at local strip clubs, revealing the shocking news that some strip clubs are breaking the rules. It airs Wednesday at 11.
“details of her three-way sex encounter”: That phrase made it into Fox41’s newscast last night, in a story about problems within the Oldham County EMS, where the sex scandal caused the resignations of the board chair and director. The three-way encounter “set off alarm bells” there. I’d say so.
Richie “Didn’t Know”: KET aired a debate between GOP Lt. Gov. candidates last night, and Richie Farmer, when he wasn’t talking about his basketball exploits, said of the furough controversy: “I didn’t know that everybody else had already went ahead and made their checks payable back. It was really a mistake on my part not to do it as it happened… ” He also defended his stays at hotels by discussing the success of the Kentucky Proud program.
Family Matters: KET’s Bill Goodman asked the 3 candidates an open-ended “who are you?” question. Both Mike Harmon and Bill Vermillion opened their responses by mentioning how long they’d been married. Farmer mentioned his sons, who are 14,12 and 9, but avoided any mention of the divorce filed last month by his wife of 13 years.
It Won’t Be the Kings: The NBA’s Sacramento franchise’s owners announced they’re staying put, for now, a minor setback for J. Bruce Miller and the group seeking to bring an NBA team here. Miller said in a Fox 41 interview that the New Orleans Hornets are still a possibility, but the league’s negotiations with the players’ union is holding up any progress.
Derby Winner: I’ve got no clue, but at least can carry on a meaningful Derby Horse conversation thanks to Billy Reed’s series right here.
