Earlier in the Spring, the words “Hey, Sugar” appeared in the windows at the intersection of Main and Shelby streets, next to Bittner’s and adjacent to Quills Coffee Firehouse. Now, the window display reads “Hey, I Knead You,” a playful love note to the neighborhood and passersby suggesting that something sweet and surprising is coming to Main Street. Executive Chef and owner of Butchertown Grocery, Bobby Benjamin, is proud to announce the future home of Butchertown Grocery Bakery at 739 E. Main St.
Chef Bobby says the bakery will be an extension of Butchertown Grocery. “At BG, we’re about the best ingredients and excellent hand-crafted technique. We value quality above everything, and I’m excited to have another venue for us to showcase our love of delicious, authentic food in a neighborhood that means everything to us.”
