Sebastian Moh’s Serai restaurant is open in Clifton

Serai, the word for lemongrass in Malaysian, is open in the space vacated last year by DiFabio’s Casapela (2311 Frankfort Ave. in Clifton).

At Louisville Business First, reporter Michael L. Jones spoke with Sebastian Moh, Serai’s owner and chef.

“Serai is a neighborhood restaurant focused on Malaysian and Thai spices, herbs and techniques, together with local seasonal ingredients and a touch of Chinese wok stir-fry,” Moh said. “Thailand, China and Malaysia are all neighboring countries, so we use very similar techniques and spices.”

According to Jones, “Serai is open for dinner service Tuesday through Saturday.”
